Why coloured bath tissue?
Because the everyday essentials you use should be as intentional as the rest of your home and your lifestyle. Color is how Aurea Maison makes the functional beautiful.
Are your ingredients safe?
Yes. The pulp is bleached without elemental chlorine and the product is free from parabens, BPA, PFAS, phthalates, added formaldehyde, and harsh fragrances. Every formulation is independently tested against OEKO-TEX Standard 100 limits by accredited third-party laboratories.
Are your dyes bad for me?
No. The pigments are part of the pulp itself, not surface dyes that transfer. They are tested against OEKO-TEX Standard 100 limits for azo dyes, allergenic and carcinogenic dyes, and dispersed dyes, and the product has been clinically tested in a Repeated Insult Patch Test (RIPT) under dermatologist supervision with no reactions observed.
Is your bath tissue bad for the environment?
We chose bamboo and eucalyptus because both regenerate in years rather than decades. Our pulp is bleached without elemental chlorine. Our packaging is paper-based and made to be kept rather than thrown away. We make considered choices where we can and continue to refine the ones we're still working on.
Will the colours transfer?
No. Because the colour is in the fiber, not on top of it, there is nothing to transfer. Independent colour-fastness testing confirms the product will not mark skin, fabric, or porcelain in normal use.
